1999 Chevrolet S-10 Speed Sensor Repair Estimate $100.00-$325.00

Hi,

I was wondering if I could get an estimate on replacing a  vehicle speed sensor on my 1999 Chevy S10. I just replaced my transmission and it will not go into overdrive.

Thanks,

Can you get me a quote on a Catalytic Converter installed on my 1997 Chevy s10 pickup?  It has the 4 cylinder engine.  I've heard this can be really expensive.  Alex P. - Deerfield Beach, Florida.

We found a pretty big range in quotes.  Most of the cost is definitely in the parts - principally the new catalytic converter.  The price for that part alone can range from $313 to $750.  Labor is pretty reasonable.  Most shops can get it done in less than 2 hours.  Total cost including parts and labor will range from $450 to $825 depending on the repair shop or dealership.  (these quotes do not include taxes, disposal fees on the old parts, or other miscellaneous fees.)
