1999 Toyota Avalon Rotor Machining Estimate $75-$150+
Shuttering on right front wheel after warm-up at various speeds. After enough shuttering, will stabilize.
Bob Parker
Hi Bob,
This sounds like you have some warpage going on with your rotors. To fix this you need to bring your car into a brake shop or dealership to get them machined down.
Most brake specialists that have the equipment required to lathe rotors will charge a lot less than a dealership, so I suggest you find a private shop that has a good consumer rating.

Parts= $13-$60 each depending on the quality of the pads.
Labor= 1-1.5 hours $50-$100 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.
Total= $76-$220+

Toyota to offer 0% financing
In an effort to jump start new sales after the rash of bad publicity over recent recalls, Toyota is rolling out a nationwide zero percent interest promotion for up to 60 months. Toyota models that will be eligible for the 0% financing include the Camry, Rav4, Yaris, Avalon, Corolla, Matrix & Highlander. Combined, these vehicles represent approximately 80% of all US sales.
