The cost of replacing the A/C compressor on your Venture will vary greatly depending on a few variables, but here's what to expect getting the repair done by a mechanic:

Parts= $100-$420 depending on the quality of the compressor.

Labor=$175-$300 depending on the shop's hourly rate.

The cost for parts is based on actually going to the junkyard and pulling a compressor from a spent Venture yourself, versus buying one direct from the manufacturer.

Considering the difficulty of this repair, unless you have extensive knowledge and experience working with your Venture, I'd leave it to the professionals.
