Front windshield replacement.

Lisa Losure

Hi Lisa,

The cost of replacing the windshield for your Accord can vary greatly depending on your insurance coverage, and the company you go through.

If you have comprehensive coverage, talk to your agent. You should be able to get your windshield replaced at no cost to you.

If you don't have comprehensive coverage, you're looking at around $300 or so at the most.

So shop around and go with the guys that have the best consumer report for a price you can afford.

Hi Josh,

Well, first off you need to get yourself a turbo kit! The kit will come with everything you need to do the installation, and if you have the tools and the ambition you should be able to slap that puppy on your civic yourself and/or with the aid of a friend/online tutorial.

If not, the cost of installing a turbocharger will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:

Timing belt change.

Rafik Ayvazyan

Hi Rafik,

The cost of replacing your timing belt will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:

Parts= $15-$32 depending on the quality of the belt.

Labor=1.5-2.5 hours $75-$150 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.

Total= $90-$182+

Do some shopping around, because this might be a bit expensive of a quote depending on what shop you go to. I know that there are some places that charge a flat rate right around $80 for replacing a timing belt, but expect something in the range of what I quoted you.
