91 Prelude rear quarter panel 300x199 1991 Honda Prelude Right Rear Quarter Panel and Tail Light Repair Estimate $220 $975+Right rear corner panel and tail light?

Hi Sammy,

Yes, I know this is actually the left side quarter panel, but it's almost the same on both sides. In fact, its actually slightly cheaper for the left quarter panel, because the factory doesn't have to machine a hole for the gas tank.

The cost of this repair is going to vary greatly considering the kind of work needed. Here's an idea of what to expect:

Parts= Right Rear Quarter Panel $75-$325, Tail Light $45-$250 both depending on quality of parts and if used or new.

Labor= 1-2 days after parts have been received, which will cost $100-$400+ depending on auto body shop's hourly rate, quality of service and cost of paint.

Total= $220-$975

This estimate is based on the cheapest possible way to repair your Prelude, which means pulling parts from the junkyard, removing and replacing all of the parts yourself including tricky wiring, and assuming that you have the paint and sprayer to match the color to your existing car.

Unless you have the knowledge, skill, and tools to pull all of that off, it's likely you'll be paying closer to the upper end of the estimate.
