Rear brakes.

Hi Robert,
Not sure if you need a whole brake job, or just a new set of pads. Since most of the time you can get away with just replacing the pads I'll quote you for that.
The cost of replacing your brake pads will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:
Parts= $10-$75 depending on the quality of the pads.
Labor= 1-2 hours $75-$150 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.
Total= $85-$225+
Replacing brake pads is on the easier side of an intermediate level fix, and requires minimal tools. If you don't mind getting a little dirty and working with your hands, I highly suggest you try this repair on your own to cut back on labor costs.
Go online and download a free tutorial to walk you through the repair; there are a ton of them on youtube.
Once you replace your own brake pads, you'll never pay to have someone do it for you again.
