The cost of replacing your brake pads and rotors will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:
Parts= $50-$190 depending on the quality of the brake pad and rotor kit.
Labor= 1-2 hours $120-$200 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.
Total= $170-$390+
If you don't mind getting dirty and working with your hands I highly suggest you try replacing the brake pads on your own. It's an easier intermediate level fix that requires minimal tools, and there are a ton of free tutorials on the web to walk you through it step by step.
Also, once you've gone that far it's just one more step to take the rotors off and slap some new ones on.
After you've done it once you'll never pay the expensive labor costs to have it done again.
