Noise. Brake light on.
Lorraine Graham
Hi Lorraine,
If the brake light is on that might be an indicator that you need new brake pads, and I'm guessing the noise is a dead giveaway. The cost of new brakes will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:
Parts= $10-$70 depending on the quality of the pads.
Labor= 1-2 hours $75-$210 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.
Total= $85-$280+
