1993 Ford Probe Transmission Rebuild Estimate $460-$870+

Automatic Transmission. Transmission is fine but from a STOP, the car lags badly (sometimes the car will not even move forward). If I put the gear shift lever into 1st or 2nd gear, car moves forward just fine.  I would like the gears to engage from a STOP as they are supposed to.
