 2007 Saturn Aura Brake Pad Replacement Estimate $90 $230+

New brake pads.

Andrea Cotterell

Hi Andrea,

The cost of replacing your brake pads will come down to parts and labor. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:

Parts= $15-$80 depending on the quality of the pads.

Labor= 1-2 hours $75-$150 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.

Total= $90-$230+

If you don't mind getting a little dirty and working with your hands, I'd highly suggest you try to replace your brake pads yourself to cut back on expensive labor costs.

The repair is on the easier side of an intermediate level fix, and requires minimal tools.

Go online and download a free tutorial to walk you through the job; there are a million of them on youtube. Once you change your pads on your own, you'll never pay to have it done again.
