Front driver side motor mount needs replacement.

Hi Dylan,

Replacing a motor mount is easy, but getting to it is hard. Here's what you can expect to pay on average:

Parts= $20-$40 depending on the quality of the mount.

Labor= 1.5-3.5 hours $150-$300 depending on the shop's hourly rate and the skill of the mechanic.

Total= $170-$340+

This repair is all about the skill of the mechanic, and how quickly they can support the engine and get to the motor mount. There are tricks of the trade to get an engine lifted faster, and some are just faster. Period.

If you have the tools for it, including something to jack/hoist a motor, I suggest you try this fix yourself to save hundreds on labor costs.

Go online and do a little digging for a repair manual. There are sites where you can download one for free.

If you can't find one online, head over to your local auto parts wholesaler like AutoZone or NAPA. They should have a hard copy for about $25.

The repair manual will have detailed instructions and diagrams to walk you through the repair.
